  Selena having a softer voice and a baby face, combined with her public persona and Lupus struggles, makes her the perfect scapegoat for her behavior every time. You can be a terrible person AND a victim, survivor, whatever at the SAME time. People lack the cognitive ability to actually view her through a nuanced lens and would rather baby her because she is sick. It's fucking grating. They did and still do it with Ariana too, and as a woman I am sick of the infantilization and outright ignoring of bad behavior like this just because they are pretty, struggling, or have trauma. I have trauma too, and I don't treat people badly.

  When the person who gave you their KIDNEY calls you out for drinking, partying and is no longer a part of that persons life, LISTEN. She gave Selena her KIDNEY and wasn’t even invited to the wedding. That says it all. <br><br>Also! Great video and series. Love it and all the work you’ve put into is so clear.   I seriously hate when people do the whole &quot;oh, they&apos;ll be attractive when they&apos;re 18&quot; or &quot;they could call me in 3 years&quot; or &quot;i can&apos;t wait til she turns 18&quot;. Like.... you&apos;re already being a creep just by saying that. You&apos;re already sexualizing a child. And 18 isn&apos;t some magical number, btw, where it makes it not weird for someone way older to be preying on them.

  Most of her past issues are blamed on Justin &amp; any time she doesn’t come out smelling like a rose, people will blame someone else or assume she’s a clone. The mental gymnastics others do to keep her on her golden child throne is crazy

  people always like held her to a higher standard but because that’s how she was branded to us. that’s she’s always “innocent”.. at this point looking back you can tell that there was always more to the story.. her and justin shouldn’t have ever been together in my opinion, it clearly was toxic. i think people just liked how they looked together.
