So…I’ve watched the AMMO vids for a few years, but now I find my 9 year old daughter watching them, and she is REALLY into them. She calls me over saying “Dad, you’ve got to see mold on this one!” or “this before & after is crazy!” Uhhh…ok. She even wants a snow foamer for her birthday. I’m saving this particular vid as a treat for later because she especially enjoys seeing black cars getting polished. 😆 You’re basically a celebrity in her mind, Larry.

I just can’t fathom the fact that someone purchased this when it came out, drove it 500 miles and stored it away. I can imagine some folks are going to do the same thing with the C8 and someone will discover it in a barn 20-30 years from now….

Found a 91 ZR1 on marketplace. It was on there for a while and the guy gave me the runaround for a month. Finally made plans with him to go pick it up and he posted it as sold. Completely ghosted me after that. It popped back up from the same guy 6 months later and I reached out to him again. Finally made real plans to get it. Turns out it was his uncle's car and he had gotten cold feet about selling. It had been moved out of the garage for the last six months so it was almost as bad on the outside as yours. Gas tank had filled up with water, too. Anyway got it back, cleaned it, flushed the fuel and put a clutch in and it's one of my favorite cars. Has 110,000 miles but it was well taken care of and looks and acts like it has 10k on it

I've been following you from Istanbul for years and I really admire your work. I'm a longtime American car enthusiast; I was born in a Chevrolet in 1961 and practically grew up surrounded by American cars. My first car was a 1963 Chevrolet Impala, which I started driving when I was just 13 years old. After that, I owned many American cars, and finally, in 2006, I sold my first car, a 1998 Pontiac Firebird, and started driving smaller cars, but the American passion inside me never went out. I'm 65 years old now, and for some reason, I've started feeling very young, so I'm planning to buy a 2008-2011 Corvette soon. I send my warmest greetings and love to all my American car enthusiast friends from Istanbul.

These barn find restorations are insane. This car turned out amazing. Wish I had something like this stashed away in a barn. Best thing you'd find in my shed is a 10 year old weed wacker, bet she'd clean up nice though lol.
