I still get a kick out of Murder By Death from the 70s. Watched it as a kid in the 90s and love it to this day. Seeing someone like Peter Sellers play a chinese detective would probably blow up the internet today.

These movies were classics. People now need to lighten up. The Toy is one of my favorite movies. The message from it is so deep. Spend time with your kids, they don't stay small forever.

The funniest movie of the 80's was absolutely "Ruthless People" with Judge Reinhold, Bette Midler, Danny DeVito, Helen Slater, Bill Pullman, Anita Morris and several other really funny bit part players. Bette Midler was absolutely perfect, and Reinhold's "No more Mister Nice guy" speech made me fall out of my seat. When I saw it, my friend and I were the only ones in the theater, and the movie doesn't seem to have been very successful, but I'm telling you, you gotta see it.
