  Will never forgive the girls for convincing Miranda that Steve, who was everything in a man she didn’t want, was the one for her. Especially when she met plenty of men that were actually on her level. The show didn’t need a revival, it needed a reboot where Miranda got a man she actually deserved and raised(or not) a family she was actually ready for.

  Therapist here! Your take about Carrie's therapist was spot on. This is an insane way to attempt to build rapport with any new client, especially if you know that they are hesitant and skeptical about coming to therapy in the first place. Unfortunately, some therapists like to swing their dick around and poke at people like this to basically prove that they are smart and know more than the client. Like clinical negging.

  I definitely remember when I was a kid my mom haaaaaated Carrie and Big together and thought Carrie was "an idiot half the time" and then would talk to me about how fucked it was when I watched the show as an older teen. So I think there's a good chunk of it that really genuinely was meant to be horrible from an in-universe perspective even for women at the time.

  Mirandas arc on this show is a tragedy and honestly always makes it a hard rewatch for me. Watching her settle for the absolutely awful manchild Steve and settle into a life motherhood to baby and a grown ass man (while being the breadwinner as well!!) And still looked down upon breaks my heart every damn time. She desereved better.<br><br>At least when Carrie ends up with Big I know they deserve eachother anyways cause they&apos;re both gonna make eachother miserable anyways 🤷‍♀️
