A number of these places were featured in an old publication " Where to go in New Jersey". A great book listing places to see that were not tourist traps. Was a great way to see the state, and learn about the history.

The Atco Ghost is on Burnt Mill Rd. I lived here most of my life. Atco also stands for Atlantic Transportation Company since the train from Philly to AC cuts right through town.

Buildings still standing today has iron work from the state. The craftsmanship is unbelievable.

As a kid, Ong’s Hat was little more than a small ice cream stand in between home (Pemberton) and Grandma’s House (Willingboro). <br>And Yes, I am among those who went BACK there 25 years ago. Only to find exactly what I expected: sticks, sugar sand, pines, stone foundations, and not much else.

Allaire village is fine. I go there every summer. The steam train is fun. Kids love it
