I maintain that the second gasp at the end isn't just Wendy landing on the spike.

It's her "waking up" over, and over, and OVER again. Because of the corrupted magics in Neverland, she can never fully die, always determined to be "united" with Peter.

Yandere Zombie Wendy is so much more terrifying of an concept than anything else plus her desire for his life didn't really start when the shadows around her eyes grow bigger plus her iris grow small.

Peter doesn't want to grow up, but with all the shit he's been put through in this continuity, I don't think he has a choice... 😢

I think the reason why Wendy;s corpse lasted so long is tied back to the paused aging. No one ages in Neverland, so maybe corpses don't (rot) either

 "Peter can't catch a break"
Right! First, he had to watch his mother figure kill his crush, then his friends were taken from him, then he killed his mother figure, then his crush came back to life only to try and kill him, leading him to having to kill her the same way his mother figure did! He's really in a dark place!😭😔

The flower IS just straight up a Bell Flower. Doesn't necessarily have to specifically be Tink's flower for the motif to freak Wendy out given her situation.

No Tink is well and truly dead but Neverland now has a WENDYgo problem

 "Take the fall for me"
It's not just from Fall Little Wendy Bird Fall... It's also from Take The Shot.

Also, the fact that so many of the phrases she uses in the chorus parallels with both marriage AND death (say your goodbyes, settle affairs, take a knee). Death and love are so entwined in Wendy's undead mind that she can't separate the two at all until the third element (fear, after being reminded of her murderer) is introduced that she's able to snap out of her haze.

People have said that Wendy here is something along the lines of a revenant, which in simple words is a zombie or spirit that comes back to usually terrorize the living driven by a specific purpose. And obviously here, instead of revenge, it’s love. And yes, I’m pretty sure Wendy purposely shift her hand so Peter couldn’t save her.

Anyway thanks for the reaction. (I’ve been trying to find more people who have reacted because it’s so fun seeing people react to this peak song)
