  They're not afraid of her being a bad omen, they're afraid she'll be a harbinger of their demise. So they push her away, little do they know it'll become a self-fufiling prophecy

  Honestly, the part of this song that gets me the most is when she quotes them saying how she's a curse, dangerous, to blame for the problems they're all experiencing, but then the line "so quick, turn your back" really feels like it had a double-edged meaning. Because... Why would you turn your back TO someone you expect to betray you? Turning their back on a innocent child made her become the very villain they believed her to be. She's basically saying "you expected me to be nothing but a threat and treated me as such, then turned your back to me and were surprised when I slid the knife in?"

  I recommend the part 2. <br><br>&quot;A child not embraced will burn the village down just to feel it&apos;s warmth&quot; which is a warning to the African proverb &quot;it takes a village to raise a child.&quot;<br><br>“It takes a village to raise a child” means it takes more than just the parents to make sure the child is nurtured and supported. Something Mirabel didn’t have in this case. <br><br>The warning “if a child is not embraced by the village, they will burn it down to feel its warmth.” means one who’s been neglected will go to destructive measures for a sense of validation or belonging. They resort to that because they are done lighting themselves on fire to feel warmth and to warm up others

  You need to listen to her tinker bell villain song! It’s so good, and (in my opinion) one of her best vocal works!<br><br>The “how’s it feel to stain your family name” and “do you understand what your apathy cost?” Lines hit HARD

  There is also an Isabella and Dolores villain song!! And also, as everyone has been saying in the comments, tinkerbell&apos;s villain song which is like. One of her best songs in my opinion lol

  Side note: the small green shadings that are hinted during certain parts are probably indications of her following Bruno’s path and Bruno was depicted with the color green
