  A breathtaking four hour treatise making it clear that the Eye of Magnus is... the eye of Magnus.<br>If only it were 58 seconds longer.

  Are we not gonna talk about how one of Gauldur&apos;s sons found the the Eye and chose to die there, and how the Eye makes him invulnerable that Tolfdir has to do something to the Eye? Not even a mention? Just a &quot;named nearby draugr&quot;? <br><br>If Tolfdir, one of the masters of Alteration in Tamriel, didn&apos;t happen to be there and figured out what&apos;s going on, the story would&apos;ve ended then and there. He&apos;s quite literally invulnerable.<br><br>He&apos;s also one of the three Gauldursons who killed and stole their father&apos;s amulet and wreak havoc across Skyrim. His corpse has a third of the legendary amulet and a writ of sealing of condemnation of his grave crime, which implies he was defeated and killed, yet somehow unlike his brothers (who when you meet arise from there coffin) he&apos;s there with the eye, guarding it, sitting on a throne, his unique staff laid neatly on the table. &nbsp;<br><br>Feels to me the writer had so much outlined for this questline but ended up not fleshing out even half of it, unfortunately

  I always connect the word &apos;mundane&apos; with &apos;Mundus&apos;, as in, anything described as mundane in the elder scrolls simply means its from mundus. &quot;Discerning the transmundane&quot; could mean &quot;discerning between things that are not from the mortal world from things that are&quot;, which would describe the eye of Magnus pretty accurately as coming from Aetherius
