When Addison Barger hit the grand slam in Game 1 of the World Series I was with my friends after finishing midterms and one of my friends and I watched that together and went absolutely insane. It’s one of the best memories of my university life.

This team captivated Canada unlike anything I’d ever seen and is so special.

I grew up with my dad telling me stories about Carter's home run. In 2015 I moved to Toronto, and watched Bautista flip that bat. Watching Clement's hit in the bottom of the ninth sail from being the Joe Carter moment for a new age, into the glove of Pages who ran impossibly fast to get there, and almost collided with another player preventing the save. I really can't put into words how crushing that moment was. But, it did bring me back into baseball more than I've ever been, and having been to the near empty games in the late 2010s, the full house we have almost every night these days is so wonderful to see.

I don't think Americans can really understand how much the Blue Jays mean to us as a country. Especially in an age where we are under threat.

The Maple Leafs were a baseball team about 30 years before they were a hockey team. They played in the International League from the 1890s till the 1960's.

It's truly impressive how you manage to publish such high-quality videos so regularly.

The baseball sized hole the expos left in my hearth never really got filled by anything , watching the major leagues always has a bitter taste

Game 6 of the world series literally cancelled Halloween in Canada. In my small Albertan city, I live in an area with tons of young families. There's always kids playing hockey in the street, people walking and biking, etc. On that day not a single person was on the street. 😂

As an ex-Montrealer and baseball lover, thank you very much for putting all that together. I appreciate videos that are 100% factual. I still miss the Expos. I went to well over a 100 games between 1978 right up to the last one in 2024. Some of the best memories of my childhood going to games with my dad

The Toronto Raptors are in a similar position in the NBA with the Grizzlies moving south of the border from Vancouver to Memphis. The Raptors also won the NBA title in 2019, the only team outside the United States to do so.

An AL team in Vancouver would be cool.
