Pride doesn't really control shadows, he is shadows. That's his true form. He is just using a child like body as a container to walk around freely.

"Lust can regenerate" They can all regenerate except Wrath... that's the whole idea behind having a philosopher's stone for a heart. Wrath and Greedling are an interesting case. Wrath fought against the stone taking him over, and burnt through most of the souls it contained, so he got the abilities and the extended lifespan and peak physical form, but not the regeneration. Ling accepted Greed freely, and got the full benefit of all the souls within the philosopher's stone.

I remember reading the chinese dub of the manga and really liking how Edward called "Father". "Little man of the flask". "Little man" can also be translated to B*stard or B*tch in english.

Lust can regenerate. Well all of them except wrath. I mean even human who know alchemy can regenerate body part if they have the philosopher stone. The al brother who obtain the stone didnt do it because of their ideals when they knew what the stone made of.
