  FMA has such a fantastic premise like it&apos;s just so compelling right out the gate, it&apos;s no wonder production studios were eyeing it immediately and trying to make an anime from it only 2 years after it had started when it was only like 20% finished.

  Learn something new. I did not realize until you said it. That Alphonse’s soul attached itself to the deformed body before Edward was able to attach it to the armor. I always thought Ed got his soul back from the gate and that’s how he lost his arm. not that he lost his arm as he attached his brother‘s soul to the armor before it left.

  I finally watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in January of this year and it easily became my favorite anime because of how well the world building and characters were. Every time one mystery was solved, ten more were revealed. By the time the show ended, every plot point had a resolution and I wasn’t left unsatisfied

  Literally one of the best series ever. I also enjoy that it has great humor without being just stupidly, perverted like a lot of anime. They are also so smart with how they plan things out and showing you continuity stuff that sticks around like somebody damaged pretty heavily for two or three episodes like when Mustang fights Lust.
