Dude, bring back the original voice. You’re gonna lose people if you don’t.

The way you bring Wych Street back to life is incredible – I could almost feel how cramped, dark and suffocating it must have been

Hi Historian Sleepy! I am deeply haunted and captivated by the way you’ve brought the 'soul' of Wych Street back to life—the narrowest and most dangerous slum in old London. 🕯🇬🇧 The way you described the heavy scents of layered history, from the smell of peat to the open sewers at the beginning, made me feel as if I were truly standing amidst the chaotic crowds of 1783.

Love your videos. This one the sound is different though sounds like it's recorded in a tunnel I hope you go back to your normal recording set up so I can always listen. From your biggest fan! In UK Dorset.

I just loved this. I've been out in the early afternoon working in my garden and listening to this, it's the right level of fascinating and entertaining that I have enough thoughts left for what I need to do. I love that it has no plot at all just a timeline and a whole lot of interesting details. Like living another life while you do your job.
