  Logically using messi not winning the world cup and winning the balon d'or is just beyond stupid. Messi played the best football the world had ever seen that season while being the best scorer annd playmaker in the world.

  Kane should win it, he deserves it, in terms of overall baller and teammate he does droves more than anyone on this list. If Lamine wins it, I think itd be detrimental to his potential, he's already won most trophies someone his age could dream of. If he manages to win UCL this season and has a great run until next year he could get it then.

  People say Lamine&apos;s World Cup performance disqualifies him, but do they truly believe Spain would&apos;ve won as dominantly without him? <br>He played his role. He didn&apos;t have the same freedom as at Barcelona, so he did what his coach wanted.

  Harry Kane should be the clear favourite, not only are his numbers and stats crazy, he lifts the team, his behaviour is class and is a true leader. The only thing that goes against him is that these pundits and sports channels won’t be able to get any views if he wins since he ain’t a drama queen. If Yamal had a great World cup then he would have been a deserving winner, the most important player in the spain team was Rodri and Cucurrela.
