  I teach English Literature in a Grammar School in an affluent area. Every year, I teach a poem which references Nelson, and every year the number of children who know who he was declines. This year it was 10.

  I was a teacher for 33 years … it’s a downward spiral now. Everything Katherine says is correct. Now we have younger and younger teachers as teachers such as myself have been bullied out of the system…back in the day politics had no place in the classroom.

  I am a 74 year old private English tutor, and if I get any rubbish about racism or climate change I inform them of the actual facts, I try to get them to become critical thinkers. I say you don't have to believe what I say, but don't dismiss it either.

  I am the oldest Gen Z 29 and I absolutely agree with this woman. I have seen how her school operates and it’s great. I would not put my child in public school made that decision long time ago. I’m not hopefully for a turn around because we have systems that work but those in higher power will not implement it across the board. People only try to fix something after it is completely broken and not before. The writing has been on the wall long before I was born and yet here we are still. Very sad that we threw away everything like this.

  I had this experience,  I spoke to the headteacher & chair of the board of governors about the ideological biases of the school and that they were teaching children what to think not how to think (I'm talking huge trans flags in every classroom & throughout the halls, posters on trans heroes and 'report queerphobia' etc). They ignored me. I made a complaint and attended a hearing. They ignored me

  It’s deeply disturbing what Children are Taught in schools today. ! <br>Why don’t they learn about WORLD history?<br>Values and Having INTEGRITY need to be taught, as they no longer taught in homes!

  I work in a preschool and have done for 20 years. Strict parents = well adjusted happy children with few hangups. Soft parenting. = anxious insecure children who yell at their parents who excuse their behaviour with an explanation that they have big feelings and are just very sensitive. Its an easy measure year on year. Please note strict o<br>Parenting does not mean beating your children.
