  I feel Alex got it a bit wrong here.... Personally, the premise was amazing, It made sense from both Spencer&apos;s and his friends&apos; perspectives. He broke up, was away and watching his friends do amazing stuff.... And he is already a person with low self confidence. Shit like that breaks it even more. When everything seems to work out, except your life.<br><br>And imagine, a 16-17 year old boy lives a life for some time, where he has no weaknesses at all, of course he wants to go back there. <br>Especially when everything crashes down in the real world for him. Because those few minutes of being in that &quot;formidable&quot; body could maybe boost his confidence a bit.<br><br>It makes total sense why he would go back. He is 18-20 years old and his life seems to be crashing while he watches his friends live their best lives, and breaks up with his gf. Which, he may feel guilty about not being able to keep them together.<br><br>And at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5dDtigM_As&amp;t=1542">25:42</a>..... there was a signficant time jump. They spent an year together and then broke up. Obviously he feels devastated.<br><br>I would totally want to go back.

  I agree with a lot of the comments that the premise makes sense to me. How many of us have imaginary worlds we&apos;ve wanted to visit - Star Wars, Harry Potter, Middle Earth, Narnia? I don&apos;t know many people who <b>haven&apos;t</b> wished to magically live a different life, <b>*especially*</b> as a teenager. Add to that, how many of us are chronically online for that exact reason? We can be a different, more confident, &quot;better&quot; (or at least more comfortable) version of ourselves... and it&apos;s addicting. It makes sense that one or more of them would dream of going back, and Spencer makes the most sense to be the one who actually did.

  Just admit u love the new age Jumanji films more than the og Alex😭😭. Cannot wait for the next one, every time we get Kevin Hart &amp; The Rock together on screen is a blessing
