  Okay, let me say that this is NOT supposed to cover EVERY super small detail and back story of every single character. I see a lot of people thinking that, this is covering the general story of all 3 games for those that might not be super familiar with it.   Worth noting, the Squid Sisters did not compose the Calamari Inkantation. It’s an ancient song built into the DNA of inklings and octolings. The Squid Sisters just covered it. That’s why it’s called “the heavenly melody” and why hearing it was enough to cause Marina to defect from the army.

  Deep Cut wanting to protect the Alterna vaults because they are on sacred land is not accurate. They themselves said their aim was to sell the treasures to donate to Splatsville and keep a shallow cut. Also, they did mean harm. After Agents 1 and 2 give Deep Cut the treasures, they felt bad about trying to kill Neo Agent 3.
