  Hey guys, just want to address an issue with this video. In an effort to save time I used some quick AI generated title cards to save time on composing them myself.<br><br>It was a stupid, brain dead decision, the kind that only materializes at 2am with a looming deadline. Made worse by the fact that I’m a creative professional in my day job…which usually requires SOME sleep.<br><br>Regardless, I’ve heard your requests to do better, and that means I can’t cut corners, even if it means a video will be late.<br><br>On a positive note, this signals to me that the videos are actually connecting with an audience…which is amazing. Thank you for the support and thank you for holding me accountable.

  Imo, the fundamental difference is that suits used to recognise talent and take risks, now they only recognise a spreadsheet and playing safe. No vision, no risk, less profit. Look at Walt&apos;s original theme park idea. Everyone thought he was crazy, but he pushed it through and proved the critics wrong.

  I can&apos;t bring myself to watch Disney Handcrafted and see the company celebrate the work of men like Marc Davis while turning around and erasing everything they actually did in the parks.

  This is part of a greater societal issue, of faceless blobs being sucked up as peons instead of being overshadowed by the executives.<br>Disney as a company is guilty of sanding down the people its meant to elevate, and then doing the opposite, it&apos;s exhausting.

  When Walt Disney was alive, he simply told people to do something and they would find a way. There was no committee that considered things like budget and marketability. Success or failure, everything he touched was memorable. Now the entertainment world is run by suits trained to chase profit over all else, meaning only the safest and blandest ideas make it to the masses, and even those get their edges sanded down during production.

  If you were living in the late 90&apos;s &amp; early 2000&apos;s, Scott Trowbridge was EVERYWHERE! From Discovery/Travel Channel Specials to major media events, they were really pushing him. He was presented as Universal&apos;s version of John Wardley

  It&apos;s the same reason why Bob Iger let Tomorrowland rot away. They couldn&apos;t turn the land into any IP and went with Galaxys Edge instead which was a huge mistake imo. Unfortunately, I don&apos;t think TL will get any love until Iger is gone!
