When they first discovered this planet, it appeared dead. Vast plains were covered with ruins, and gigantic towers rose through the grey mist. But we quickly realized that a powerful civilization once existed here. Millions of years ago, this world was very different. Massive seas, rivers, and lakes covered the surface, all filled with a life-sustaining liquid that allowed living beings to thrive. Cities stretched across thousands of kilometers, and ships constantly crossed the skies. Then the changes began. A colossal gas giant hangs in the sky beside the planet, dominating the horizon. For countless ages its presence caused no problems. But over time, its gravitational influence began affecting the planet's interior. The underground layers became unstable, and unknown substances started rising from deep below the surface. At first, nobody noticed the danger. The life-sustaining liquid remained, but its properties slowly changed. It became increasingly toxic. Gradually, it could no longer support life. Any organism that came into contact with it became died. They tried to stop the disaster. Across the planet, enormous purification facilities and towers were built to process the contaminated liquid. Some of these structures remain active even today. They are the towers we still see among the ruins. But the process could no longer be stopped. We discovered ancient records describing the Final Exodus. Realizing that their world was doomed, the inhabitants began a mass evacuation. Millions of beings left their home and searched for a new future among the stars. Not everyone escaped. Even today, small life forms can still be found among the shattered structures. Some hide deep beneath the surface, while others hunt among the ruins of ancient cities. The most mysterious location is known as the Valley of Desiccation. Long ago, a vast ocean existed there. Now only a dark cracked plain remains. At its center stands a colossal tower emitting weak signals. We still do not know its true purpose. From orbit, the planet looks calm. But we know the truth. Its interior continues to collapse. The life-sustaining liquid is no longer safe for survival. The giant world in the sky continues to influence the planet. And one day, this world will finally perish. We protect the galaxy from unknown threats. They go where others are afraid to fly.
