Blowing a 3-0 series lead and demolishing the Old Yankee Stadium have made this team fall from grace.

Was Pedro supposed to let Don Zimmer attack him? He handled it as well as anyone could. He didn’t hit the old man. He had to sling him to the ground. Zimmer did all that to himself. And he was so embarrassed he began crying during the press conference. I felt bad for both men actually.

I’m sorry but that don zimmer moment was one of the funniest of my lifetime. Was funny back then and is still funny now. What did he expect to happen???

I had a friend that sold those "Yankees Suck" shirts, and the business tanked after the world series. He described it as "Emotionally uplifting, financially devastating "

The rule at the time that division rivals couldn’t meet in the first round of the playoffs seemed to guarantee Yanks v Red Sox in the ALCS.

As a longtime Cubs fans, I cheered the Red Sox that series… we were two game sevens from Red Sox vs Cubs World Series

Really well made. As a Red Sox fan, I never get sick of seeing another person's presentation about the best sports year ever!!

What a time to be a Sox Fan in the Bronx....so much joy and then coming back to the Bronx after the Sox winning the world series. The city felt like it was deadly quiet....Go Red Sox go

I applaud the umpire crew in Game 6, not just for making the right calls, but doing it in a high stakes game in Yankee Stadium.

When they were constructing the new Yankee Stadium, one of the workers buried a David Ortiz jersey in the concrete that was used.
