  just started fishing this year. heard all the talk about senkos but never fished em right. I watched this video and sh*t you not, the very next day i caught what was close to a five pounder (4.17lb) smallmouth for my first fish ever on a senko. Thank you dude! the future is bright :D

  My advice is &apos;&apos;When fishing is slow, fish slower!&apos;&apos; &nbsp; I&apos;ve many bad trips when fishing, the pond would seem dead. &nbsp;But with fishing slow helped me get a 5 to 8lb bass. one good fish is worth dozens of 8in bass. Let it sit for 3min or so before moving your worm, give them a chance to examine it. I like to sing a piece of a song and only move it on a certain word. Repeated over and over, it creates a twitch pattern. and it is better than counting! Choose a slow song. My worm song is &apos; The ballet of Curtis Lowe&apos;&apos; by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Might sound silly but it works. Here in Ohio, an 8lb bass is a BIG bass. &nbsp; &nbsp;Also, a little scent helps too.

  Great video! I’ve been using these Senko techniques for years and JB is spot on. I was fortunate to have learned them, but it took a lot of trial and error.

  Senkos came out before you tube, it took a long time to figure out how to use correctly, and it was by accident. I set my rod down to do something, and probably 30 seconds on the bottom before a biggun picked it up. Lesson learned! Also noticed that it pays to change hooks if they won’t bite, a 3 aught ewg might give it the perfect wiggle on the way down, but the next day it’s gotta be something different
