    Can you believe that in all this time, nearly 80 years later, this radio <i>still</i> works, with only a few repairs? Things used to be built to last.

    The backplate was probably cardboard that got saturated with oil over time. Same happened to my radio from the 50s

    I&apos;d love to see more vintage electronic repair from you, not that I dislike smartphones, but with how easy these old devices are to repair, it&apos;s pretty nice to see
