Started fly fishing about a month ago. Finding this page and your store has made starting out a whole lot less intimidating. Thank you! Was able to go out and catch trout right of the bat. Confidence and fun factor is through the roof!

Fiancé wants to take it up too. Which for me is perfect! Makes it easier to justify purchases. ;-)

A few years ago I started limiting myself to about 10 patterns, tied as simply as possible. I've been catching more fish than ever. Before that I probably spent more of my fishing time selecting (guessing) flies and constantly changing them out. I got better results by being more careful about how I approached seams and delivering quality driftless presentations and when nymphing, adjusting depth and sink rate.

This is my third year fly fishing. Specifically on the East coast, NJ. These ten patterns are the primary ones I use. Great video keep up the great work. I have been following you guys since I started, I have learned A LOT! Thank you!

Just started tenkara and fishing in general a couple months ago in CO and your videos have been so helpful in learning the basics of fly fishing, even if I don't have a reel and casting is different.

I take the principle of "Putting flies in front of fish, and making them look real" to heart. I havent yet understood the bugs part, but reading water and presenting flies have gotten down on lock.

When it comes to fly selection I just pick one that I'm feeling like fishing that day, most of my flies are wet flies, kebari soft hackle, and a few western style nymphs/dry flies that the local shops recommend me.

Love the videos, keep up the great work.

I been Flyfishing for 56 years and I only use 5 flies year round that work!! Parachute Grizzly Adams, Goddard Caddis, Flashback Beadhead Pheasant Tail, my own Wooly Bugger pattern and my own Baitfish Pattern!! They work wherever I go!!
