There are thousands of discussions, tutorials, etc., on YouTube. Joe, you are hands down one of the best. Thank you for all the knowledge and in-depth thought behind the systems you preach (that goes for all the videos to be honest). I'd love to get out and go fishing with you one day!

Joe and Kelly Galloup are the two best fly fishing experts on YouTube by a wide margin. Their knowledge and generosity in sharing that with us mere mortal fly fishers are greatly appreciated. Thank you Joe! You are Fly Fishing Jesus improving our lives.

Very well explained Joe. I never used the yarn but I need to spend some time with it. Thank you.

One of the best fly fishing videos I have watched in three months, four or five awesome hacks in here.  Live on one of the best dry dropper rivers in Colorado but implementing some of these approaches will make nymphing more enjoyable.  Got back from a trip to NZ last week and used this approach and it worked great.

I watched this last year and have been using this technique every time flows are slow or water isn't deep ever since.  VERY effective nymph presentation when the trout don't need to hug the bottom and so glad Joe posted this.  The ring and yarn are very easy to rig up and can be done at home before heading up to the river.  The combination of a loop knot and a clinch knot on the tippet ring makes for a nice vertical presentation.  ☮from North Idaho.

Incredibly thoughtful and helpful info! I love the deep dive into the nitty gritty of yarn indicators, the level of detail is so much appreciated!
