  It’s awesome that you can still eat so well in Tokyo for under ¥1000. We have both Marugame and Kura here in California, though it’s definitely not as affordable. Our Marugame stopped offering rice balls for some reason, which is a bummer. On the plus side, the US Kura locations recently started offering a half-rice option, which is great for days I want to limit my carbs. Does Kura in Japan offer that lower rice option too?<br><br>On my last trip, I stumbled on Maido Ookini Shokudo. The variety and selection of affordable food there is excellent.

  Yes of course Tokyo has some (amazing) high end restaurants, but I always love how cheap food can be in what many think of as a very expensive city. The local small restaurants are usually not so expensive and very good.

  You boys are both fabulous and your content is amazing too!! You deserve so much more recognition!!<br>In Australia for that amount of money you can get sandwich orrrrrr, one onagiri or handroll inflation has hit this country hard! For a bowl of Ramen at a restaurant it would cost between $20-25 , I went to buy fried rice yesterday and it was $22 so I went home and made it.<br>Also I would have to say that if I could share a meal with anyone it would be you two, have a blessed weekend 🙏🫶🏽
