🚓🚓 Thanks for clicking by and checking out one of Greg's all time favorite movies: HOT FUZZ! This is a "Take Two" for Video Village after an microphone malfunction ruined our original, first time watching (for Des) reaction. We asked our subscribers what they wanted us to do, and the response was overwhelmingly to have us watch it again - which is NEVER a problem as this is perhaps the best film in the Cornetto Trilogy (Greg's bold statement). Thank you all for your continued support, and don't forget to leave a comment down below and let us know your favorite parts of this action-comedy classic!

I love the subtle Bill Bailey joke "nobody tells me nothin." Because clearly everyone gets confused and thinks they've already told him when they were speaking to his twin.

Of all movies ever produced, Hot Fuzz has to be top of the list on watch again, again and again to pick up all of the gags and reference detail. It's off the chain!

One think I feel people from non British countries miss is the chief's arm in a sling during the mugshots. Every child in the UK is told that a swan can break your arm with it's wing, and that is where he got his broken arm from not the crash. I don't know if the swan detail is a thing elsewhere -- but we take it from cradle to grave.

2:00 - audio comedy element - the song at the opening is "Goody Two Shoes" (1982) - perfectly complementing the intro of our straight and narrow protagonist.

I don't know if someone else has commented with this or you already know. But of the 3 village of the year judges near the end of the movie. The 2 female judges were played by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's Moms.

The “but you’ve always been here” line when he arrives at the hotel is taken from The Shining.

55:41 Another detail I never realized is that Reaper has white horses... as in death rides a pale horse... that Nick then rides into town for the shootout.😂

Edgar Wright feels more like a conductor than a director in this film. Chef's kiss!
