  Tip culture in the US is just ridiculous. I’ve heard someone commenting: &quot;If you can&apos;t tip your server, don&apos;t go out to eat!&quot;. NOPE. If you can&apos;t pay your employees a decent wage, don&apos;t open a business. <br>START PAYING LIVING WAGES TO EMPLOYEES

  I am a 57 years old french man. 40 years ago, I was seeing US as a dreamland. But now I see US more as hell. In US, everything is a market, even the health. It can not work long term. I am glad that you become aware of that. In France, actually, we fight to keep our healthcare system, because some of our politics want to make everything more individual.

  We haven&apos;t had styrofoam for years in the UK. &nbsp;The thing I find most shocking about the US is the use of paper plates to save doing dishes, and by doing dishes, I mean putting plates into a dishwasher. &nbsp;This ASTONISHES Europeans. &nbsp;Paper plates are solely for children&apos;s birthday parties.

  I hate how nothing costs what it shows in America, In the UK if it&apos;s £10 then you pay £10, In America the taxes, fee&apos;s and tips are BS, if a Tip is compulsory it&apos;s not a tip! It just feels like everything is dishonest in America.

  I moved from the US to the UK 15 years ago and one of the biggest things I am still conscious of is healthcare. I don&apos;t have to worry about health related things (and the cost) here. But I am always concious of how much money/stress this would be, if I were experiencing it in the US. Very thankful for the NHS!!

  She got to taste Europe&apos;s lifestyle and it made her think. My God, grown-ups in the USA can&apos;t think until they have been abroad. That says everything about how brainwashed they are.
