  I can’t tell you how I laughed when Morgan called herself mature- this is the woman who (with her husband) made fun of a neighbor for having a retirement savings and college fund for their child

  I&apos;m not an EMT, but I am a healthcare worker, and I&apos;d like to comment on Morgan&apos;s observation of EMTs laughing in the ambulance.<br><br>Generally speaking, your worst day is our everyday. Almost everything we do at work is because someone is sick or injured or dying. And often they do die. It&apos;s a fine line to walk and of course we still feel for and humanize our patients, but we also tell our coworkers jokes. We have fun at work when we can. We try to lighten the mood when it&apos;s been a tough day. We learn to read the room, but we&apos;re just not gonna be miserable all the time every day. So I hope those EMTs were having a party back there; even better if the patient was in on it, too
