  DHL delivered a package today and I spoke to the delivery guy, he's WAY too old to be working, he should be retired, but he said he can't afford to retire. Just so sad to see man.

  I got laid off last November and had to apply to over 1000+ jobs to finally land one - it pays so much less than my last one but I don't think i'll ever work in tech again in my life. I paid all my bills today and don't have an outstanding balance for the first time this year. I shed real tears for this, and it is supposed to be normal to be able to pay bills.

  Sometimes companies post fake available jobs to make their company look better so it appears that the company is growing when it isn’t.

  I once had a company ask me whether I knew that I had applied for the same job four times in the last six months; I asked them if they knew they posted the same job four times in the last six months.

  50 plus years of bad economic policy, a huge influx of cheap labor, record inflation rates, and off shoring industrial jobs.....it had to come to a head at some point.

  Nursing is oversaturated. Its a false claim that there is a nursing shortage. Its more like the hospitals just don't want to hire.
