  Moved into a new apartment in the summer of 2019. The girl next door was a knock out, she’d leave her windows open and I could catch her scent when I would walk by. I spent many nights thinking about her. We’d chat a little in passing. Fast forward to today, we’re married with our first baby on the way.

  With my wife since College. I was 19, she was 21. 43 years later, 2 children, 2 grandchildren, and 50 (and counting) DMB concerts . . . I won the lottery!

  Not many songs bring tears .... we have all had a dreamgirl ....  some of us got to live them ... some of us had to move on and pick up the pieces of our lives .... but the world is so full of dreamgirl's .... every last one is a dreamgirl on the inside ...  it takes a dream man and moment in the river flow of life to empower them to be so ..... sometimes it is just meant to be ... often well maybe  ... the power is knowing when and when not ...  nuf said really.

  This is so good it’s almost surreal. The original band playing an incredible version of this song. DMB has been a musical gift to me for over 30 years. I get emotional just thinking about how much his music has meant to me in my life. Thank you Dave Matthews for making this amazing music for all of us.

  Met in middle school, dated in high school, broke up, got back together, broke up, graduated, dated again, I left the country, came back two years later… she was at the airport to meet me… married 10 months later… jump ahead 25 years… three kids… still going on and on, because she’s the best of what’s around, my Dream Girl…. And the DMB has been there with us since the beginning… 1991 BABY, Yeaaaaah!

  My favorite thing was the way Roi would quietly sneak in and shine in the spotlight the way he did in this song. I miss that.
