I really wish more people were talking about this. It’s such a disappointment for the trilogy to end this way. I submitted a letter to square enix customer support, to let them know why this is so important.

The fact that you can buy the super expensive collectors addition but still can’t have the game physically is insulting

If they dont do a real physical then im going to sell my copies of remake and rebirth, i dont want an incomplete physical trilogy. Messing up the physical of the final game of a trilogy is diabolical.

I'm pestering them about printing it on multiple discs until they launch the game. If nothing changes...

I feel scammed more than anything. The transparency isn't there. Heck, if they came out and said sorry best we can do is partial physical release, there would be backlash but at least they wouldn't look shady. It might be a financial success with fewer sales, but this is a really bad marketing strategy and an awful way to end FF7 where they boasted about giving players the complete main game on disk before.

A physical media middle ground a lot of folk don't seem to like, fair point on the coincidental history of disks in the series, could of been quite a full circle moment FF7 wise.🎮⚔️🍀

And this was going to be one of the few games I buy in 2027, along with KH IV. But now, I am not so sure if I will buy it, and if this is how Revelation is, who knows about KH IV.
