  All my life I owned 2 way, bookshelf speakers. 12 by 12 room,   I decided to buy used 3 way, floor standing units. I am now hearing details I never heard before, using the same electronics.

  Great info! I had a 13x13 listening room for 27 years. I have some large Klipsch towers and a 12 inch Velodyne sub. It could get a little bit boomy. In 2024 at the tender age of 67 my wife and I bought a new house. The listening room is 20x33 with some extra area in the back. Wow what a difference! I'm now running 2 subs.The room is the reason I bought the house! lol

  The rooms about 2900 cu ft. I run towers crossed at 60hz and 2 subs crossed the same. After using REW and treating the room <br>I love the clarity and slam i get with 2 subs. &nbsp;Building my own this fall for even more!!

  I have a medium room about 2800 cubic, and I have Martin Logan B100s, C100, and a pair of MP10&apos;s for rears with dual KEF KF92&apos;s for the bass. I use MultEQ-X to calibrate the system and run an EQ curve similar to the ideal Toole curve though with a bit more in the highs than his curve but still rolled off. It sounds fantastic for music and movies.

  I have an open floor plan family room that opens directly into the kitchen with vaulted ceilings. It&apos;s about 6,000 cubic square feet of space and I&apos;ve been using 6&quot; bookshelf speakers for years. I guess it&apos;s time to step up to some proper floor-standing units!

  Paradigm Studio 60 v2 &nbsp;placed wide away from back wall. &nbsp;Off axis<br><br>Paradigm Studio Center Channel fires upward to ceiling behind flat screen <br><br>Acurus A200x3. 200w per channel<br><br>Room is high ceiling. Quite large. <br><br>M&amp;K 2x12in sub. &nbsp;200w. &nbsp;Right corner of room. <br><br>Amazing bass even from just the Studio 60. &nbsp;Sub just blends in.

  Thanks Ray, &nbsp;I enjoy your site &amp; your YouTubes. &nbsp;I am 70 and have been hifi-ing it for many years. &nbsp;I have a medium size room with an adjoining dining &amp; kitchen. &nbsp;My 5 Revels, Towers &amp; surrounds sound great just idling along. &nbsp;7.2.4 &nbsp;I use B&amp;W 606S3&apos;s for Atmos. &nbsp;The amps have plenty of headroom. &nbsp;When needed, they deliver, but I like the clarity of the music. &nbsp;Car &amp; train crashes along with planes attacking the aliens are ok, too.

  I’m running Klipsch Cornwall IVs in my 4200 cubic foot open living room/dining/kitchen area. I tried smaller speakers and they do fine up to moderate volumes but the larger scale of the Cornwalls is really nice! &nbsp;Plus they retain more detail at low volumes than many others I’ve tried.

  2000 cu feet. ML Summit X with 4 subs, 2 x front/ 2 x rear. Sitting near field, about 6.5 feet (eq triangle). Dedicated room with a lot of treats. Speakers 5 feet from front wall, 3.5 feet from side walls, all symmetric, sitting on a one man chair with a lot of space behind. Ego setup at its best... :) PS. A book shelf and a floor stander takes up the same-ish space...
