  She lied about having qualifications and lied about a job for 12 years. She had at least 2 lives and had affairs and relationships with her own family members. She's a pathological liar and can't be trusted. These people go to any lengths to get away with their lies. They are dangerous. Where is the money she got from the "job" and what was she really doing all day?

  “Why did she kill the innocent toddler?”<br>She killed her own dog and five other family members. Does she need a rational reason to kill a toddler? She probably got a kick out of killing people or something

  I watched the documentary and have to say that the Aunt was the MVP of this case. She made sure the truth came out, she made sure the kids were safe, and she took the kids in after the mother was arrested and raised them as her own.

  After watching the documentary and listening to Stephanie, I felt that the saddest part was Annamma Thomas, the mother-in-law, was punished for being a progressive and supportive woman. In a country where married women struggle to uphold their careers and interests, especially in that time period, she didn’t want ( whom she thought was ) a highly qualified woman to sit at home and idle away.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCFD_5HPm14&amp;t=2401">40:01</a> - In traditionally minded Indian families, they have multiple generations in one household, and it is standard for the parents to go to work and the grandparents to stay home and raise the children. The house stays in the family, and it is later in life that you become in charge of your own household. Sounds like Jolly didn’t want to wait for that to happen naturally and wanted to be the queen of the house.

  IMO, there is no question that Jolly killed the five adults because she had something to gain from each murder, but why kill two-year-old Alphine?

  Well her murders did start with her trying to cover a lie about her education qualifications...and her goal wasn&apos;t to marry her own cousin...that was like a side quest
