  I love that scene in the final fight where Max is watching Charlie shadowbox with tears in his eyes. &nbsp;Remember during their argument Charlie asks Max, &quot;What do you want from me&quot;? &nbsp; Max replied, &quot;I want you to fight for me. &nbsp;That&apos;s all I&apos;ve ever wanted&quot;. &nbsp; In that end fight, Max got what he wanted more than anything else, he got to watch his father FIGHT FOR HIM. &nbsp; That scene chokes me up every time!!

  My fan theory: <br>Shadow function was abandoned / discontinued because it requires user to move and use more energy and people just want to push buttons like video games

  People forget that Atom is originally a sparring robot, it is literally built to take punches without too much damage.

  It&apos;s kind of poetic that Charlie, a remnant of a bygone era, was in control when Zeus went down. It&apos;s like his greatest moment in boxing was when he defeated the very thing that took the sport away from him

  This movie is a love letter to boxing in every single way possible. There&apos;s that moment in the final round when Bailey looks at Max as if to say, &quot;Now you understand. This is why he was beautiful in the ring.&quot; And you can see the two of them make eye contact, not holding back any tears. It&apos;s a beautiful resolution to the film. It doesn&apos;t excuse Charlie&apos;s behavior or condone it, but it DOES finally show the side of him that he had repressed for so long. This is where he belongs, and he is holding back nothing.

  for a movie that appears to just be big metal machines slugging it out on the surface, Real Steel is genuinely one of the most well written stories of acceptance and personal growth i&apos;ve seen in a long time. just an incredible story, soundtrack, special effects, and oh &nbsp;my gods each and every actor KILLED it playing their parts to perfection.<br>10/10 from me, absolutely zero complaints

  Funny fact: During the scene of Hugh Jackman giving the kid the burrito, on their first take he couldn&apos;t rip the paper bag open. 🤭
