  I believe the reason it doesn't have enough light after running for years is that it has enough battery left to function, but not enough to illuminate, so changing the battery restores the light. A watchmaker told me that, when changing the battery, if you apply a little silicone to the rubber gasket when it is somewhat worn, it maintains the seal and water resistance. 🤔

  Love this watch, i think I had my first in 1990 or thereabputs, it was under a fiver back then from Argos.  Had a few since and now I have half a dozen in my Casio collection.  Beilliant because it's a simple, accurate, super light and slim if you have tight cuffs.  I love it.

  I have this exact same watch and agree with everything you have stated, well except the swimming, which I do as well as a brick!… 👌🏻<br>That said, I did wear my light/lime green (very rare) model 24hrs a day without taking it off once during our recent Norfolk holiday, faultless… 💚

  I&apos;ve been an F-91w convert for years and despite going gshocks and ironman watches I still go back to this little tank. The reasons are as follows:<br><br>1) Easy to replace bands compared to other watches. Had a couple of resin-based Gshocks and their weakness has always been the bands as they eventually fall to resin rot. They&apos;re easy to replace but if one has a discontinued or unique Gshock model -- it&apos;s difficult finding bands even in the 3rd party market.<br>2) Easy to replace batteries - self explanatory<br>3) If all else fails one can buy these almost anywhere at a low cost.

  I class them as gshock 😂 <br>I have one nearly 20 years old still going strong on a nato strap, constant abuse never failed me, The back light could do with upgrading on mine though 😅

  Just an FYI: the F-91W in your video (green border) Casio F-91W-3DG is currently $32.97 USD on Amazon US as of 06JUL2026. The original color way version is $24.95. It can probably be found elsewhere for cheaper.
