I love your way of thinking. Brilliant Land Rover as well.

What an incredible story, brother—this genuinely made my day.
I grew up with this car. When I moved from Africa to Europe, I carried those memories with me. Even though I’ve owned plenty of fancy cars over the years, I still found a reason to bring a Defender into my life. And now, every time I park, it’s the only car I give a second look to.
Not just because it’s a beauty—but because of the childhood memories it holds: family, friends, laughter, adventures. It’s not just a car. It’s a time machine.
One day, your sons and daughters won’t just remember the car—they’ll remember the precious moments spent with their dad inside it. Those are the memories that last forever.

I'm sure you made the right decision. Some of my most memorable and exciting times were out with my 2 eldest children camping in our 2007 Landy.
Every Landy owner has tips and I'm no different!
My problem was water getting in, it took me ages to find out how. Under the air intake grill on the front wing is a box with a small pipe for water to escape, that was blocked.

I wish you lots of fun.

Ensure the injectors are functioning properly — remove them and have them sent for testing — for otherwise they will ruin the engine, this I say from personal experience. Additionally, examine the entire cooling system thoroughly. In my view, these two constitute the greatest weaknesses of the 2.4 Puma

I love the approach to the 'journey' and really know your boys and fellow travellers will love the chats and ideas it will induce! :)
tell us about the stickers :)
