  I was there as a 15 year old. Still remember electric atmosphere. Seeing them again this year. What a journey.

  Depeche Mode. Always in my mind. 40 years ago and the same now as a &quot;old man&quot; with 55 years.<br>The music is magnificent.

  Depeche Mode is THE MOST UNDERRATED band of our lifetime. Looking all the way back to their beginning, they were absolutely monumentally groundbreaking and all the way to now, they’re still an absolute powerhouse of passionate creativity, showmanship, and musical genius. <br>What I’d have given to have been one of those kids in the audience. Unfortunately I was about 8 years old, oh and recovering from childhood cancer so… if you were there, count yourself lucky.

  That instrumental at the beginning is called &quot;Oberkorn it&apos;s a small town&quot; a hommage to a city in Luxemburg where DM played a concert.
