I was born in Soviet Union. We couldn't even dream on seeing them one day live. I had several videotapes with their live concerts, we were watching them till the tape got damaged :-), i was translating every word with dictionary, and that is how i learned English, i knew evey song by heart. It ment so much for us to see them live, i will never forget the day we were running to get the tickets as they were disappearing from the store faster then we were able to reach the place. And the feeling of the audience when we saw Dave on stage the first time ever,
I thought the concert hall will simply fall down as we all started to jump and shout. It was such a high tone vibration. I think no one ever experienced that, even being great fan of Depeche mode. Because we were closed for years and at that moment we were literally breathing the same air with our favourite band - our impossible dream came true. I will never forget that night.

Martin's songwriting genius here really shines - he didn't write a song, he wrote an anthem. And I couldn't think of better frontman to perform it live - other than Dave. NLMDA is always a highlight of DM's shows, more than 30 years from its creation.

Я вообще думаю что Депеша вообще инопланетяне... как можно сочинить и исполнить такое... это запредельно... ни когда, ни одна команда такого не совершала...Боги... люблю их..

Thanks so much for all the kind messages and support – it really means a lot to me 🖤🖤🖤.

Just a couple of things I want to clear up. Some people in the comments pointed out a few mistakes with the dates in the video: the 101 Rose Bowl show in Pasadena actually happened in 1988, not 1989, and the Global Spirit Tour at the Waldbühne in Berlin was in 2018, not 2017. My apologies for that, I should’ve double-checked the details 😊.

Also, there were a few comments asking why I didn’t include live vocals from the 101 show. The reason is that Dave's vocal pitch back in a day was higher, which doesn’t quite sync with the instrumental track the band used in later years🤷.

Thanks again for your understanding and for being so engaged! 🤘💯❤‍🔥

First time i've been on my own on Christmas Day, tears streaming down my face watching this. Depeche Mode, you have inspired, and more importantly saved me on so many occasions over the years. Thank you. And thank you for making this compilation. My arms are a swingin'.

Morose and meloncholy song about addiction. Gahan was in trouble with Heroin and Gore with Alchohol. I’m glad they made it through alive! They are the only ones left now as a Duo.
