The dood who survived the first F5 only to be killed by the second seriously pissed off some cosmic force. That is final destination levels of unlucky.

I lived in nearby Madison for 26 years. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched tornadoes take that exact track. That Moulton-Tanner-Harvest/Monrovia track is almost like an expressway for tornadoes. There used to be nothing much up there, but as more people have moved there, obviously the more damage those tornadoes cause.

While it's hyperbolic in nature, Tanner's official elevation is 666 feet above sea level.

Thank you for making this video. When people make videos about the super outbreak that hit Tuscaloosa, Hackleburg, etc. They never talk about Tanner. I live in Athens and have blue jeans, insulation, shingles, and paperwork in my yard as it went over. It was the creepiest green sky i have ever seen.

Its actually impressive how all 3 Tornadoes managed to run basically parallel within Tanner.

I taught earth space science in limestone county the past two years. We discussed this in depth! Gonna add this video into my curriculum! Great stuff bro!

I’m from Tanner — thank you for posting this video. I remember April 27, 2011 very well. Our community was wonderful in helping one another during that disastrous time.

The Double F-5 Combo reminded me of The twin F-5 Event that happened in the 90's. The Hesston and Gossel Twins are by far the most unusual phenomena ever caught on camera.

The book "F5: Devastation, survival, and the most violent tornado outbreak of the twentieth century" by Mark Levine chronicles the events in Tanner through the stories of survivors, law enforcement, and emergency management officials. Highly recommend
