  Thank you for the show.  Dad of 8.  Husband 48 yrs. 27 grandchildren.  All 8 kept their faith. 2 religious Srs.  Now a caregiver for wife with seizures.  We are so blessed and loved by family.  Often as children focus on the family was key entertainment for kids and teaching for parents.

  As a 64 year old married almost 40 years, I can say that for myself and other women I talk to, we have been overlooked and neglected for decades and we&apos;d just rather be alone than live in fear once the final child leaves. I won&apos;t leave but I know how it feels. For those of us who are living a life sentence, b sometimes it&apos;s just too much

  Thank you for this video. Good stuff, Gentlemen! I so appreciate you. My husband and I had premarital counseling, but it was woefully inadequate. We went to marriage counseling many times over the years, but my husband just could not make emotional connections with me or our sons. Counselors told me they just didn&apos;t understand why he couldn&apos;t/wouldn&apos;t connect. I&apos;m not saying I had no part in the problems, but it was a miserable marriage. I really tried, but our children suffered, and it still breaks my heart. My husband died of a heart attack several years ago, and I feel free.

  The biggest mistake is thinking endless connection scripts will magically create peaceful boundaries 🙃 I spent years being the ultra-patient mom while mornings turned into complete battlegrounds for us. luckily someone told me to read Why Good Parenting Fails by author nora Bryant, it gave us painless routines and brought total joy back to parenting! My top on the list) this should seriously be taught in schools
