  It&apos;s so lonely. I&apos;ve been trying to make friends for years going to different church groups but it&apos;s so difficult 😢 let alone meeting people for courting. People are too &quot;busy&quot; to hang out <br>Still hopeful, going to keep going to more Catholic events and hopefully I can make friends soon enough <br>I stay because Catholicism is 💯❤<br>Praying for all those who listen to this podcast 🙏

  I&apos;m so glad to hear other people talk about how it&apos;s not natural to live in these isolated nuclear homes and have everything on one woman&apos;s shoulders! &nbsp;This is my main soapbox! &nbsp;It&apos;s such a big reason why society is suffering today.

  As a mom of 3 under 3, I relate to the loneliness issue. I have been trying to build community at church and other places, but honestly it&apos;s so hard to find people willing and wanting to make friends. Thankfully, I have family nearby that&apos;s supportive. But I do wish I had more mom friends. A lot of people say they&apos;re too busy or I even meet a lot of moms who say they&apos;re homebodies and have no desire to go out.

  I have no kids and no partner and I work a high powered job. I’m profoundly lonely. Everyone is too busy or overwhelmed. I miss the village.

  That’s was me after my first baby. I am an immigrant so I don’t have family or friends in the U.S and suddenly all motherhood fell on my shoulders while recoverying from cesarean. I didn’t communicate effectively and my boyfriend didn’t realize I needed him to step up. So I collapsed after 4 months. I moved out with my baby and decided that if I was going to have a single mother life but with a partner, I rather do it without one. But God rescued me from that. I leaned on my church. I leaned on my faith. My boyfriend started attending church, doing Bible studies with me. We learned to lean on each other and communicate. To not let the fears decide what we were going to do as parents. And now we are doing so much better and our daughter is being raised in a happy family. We will soon get married too❤

  I cannot believe there is finally an understanding of the “freeze”❤️ I’m 56 and my children are adults now. All I ever wanted to be was a mom, and I busted my chops doing the best I could, but failing in so many areas. I had no friends and no family to help. My mother died when I was 11 and I am really just seeing how this affected the overly shy little girl. When I tried to help my kids understand me, they decided I was playing victim, so I stopped that nonsense. I am coming back to my Christian faith and this podcast I discovered a few months ago has been a God send! And Adam knowledge is mind blowing! I am raising my grandchild and hope I can do better with him. I have a good relationship with my kids, but I’m committed to making it better through vulnerable conversations and honesty. Scary!!   I was so very lonely as a child that I used to have long conversations with the Christmas cards pretending I could actually connect and interact with the relatives who sent them.

  Adam, you must have walked in my shoes for my whole life. I am the woman you&apos;re describing in this video and, sadly, you have to explain this to another woman when there&apos;s so many of us dying as we attempt to enjoy life. I don&apos;t know what we would do without you and your intense understanding. Oh by the way, people that don&apos;t get it, judge us, destroying us even more. How small and limited they are for practicing contempt prior to investigation!!!

  Growing up, I always imagined that I would have seven children. Life unfolded differently, and I was blessed with two amazing boys who are now men I am incredibly proud of.<br><br>After my husband passed away, raising them alone was extraordinarily difficult, and the strain took a lasting toll on my health and well-being. Although I had family and friends who could have offered support, they did not, so I carried an enormous burden largely by myself.<br><br>But your words,“To enjoy motherhood, you have to enjoy your children, and let them enjoy you,” are profoundly true. As difficult as those years were, I genuinely enjoyed my boys. I still enjoy them today. We have wonderful memories that we continue to revisit and laugh about together. Whatever that season cost me physically, the love, laughter, and relationship we share make it worth it.

  I had to take a break after 11 minutes because this hits deep. Thank you for seeing us. Strong women, too often, are considered crazy the minute they ask for help or get too sick to keep it all going perfectly. Our society is broken.
