  Zodiac would never engage somebody like Dexter, so it would be Dexter having to hunt him, not likely he could ever find him. Zodiac was a coward, didn't like to take much risk.

  Nobody thinks Dexter couldn't kill an 80+ year old man, it's finding him, that has always been the issue with Zodiac.

  The thing is, would Dexter be able to find him? For example, even Trinity, widely considered his greatest adversary, never was a threat to him, neither phisically nor in intellectually. Yet Dexter wouldn't even have known of his existence if It wasn't for Lundy building the case for decades, let alone his identity and location

  The reason why no one can catch the Zodiac Killer is because of lack of advanced technology. There were no cameras back then. It was all word of mouth.

  everyone say that zodiac killer was an coward and all but thats what makes him the perfect murder machine leaving notes as red herrings for distraction that mean nothing choosing easy targets being untraceable thats what makes him a murder machine capable of being stealthy unnoticed and smart that son of a bitch was a monster of an human

  dex would probably follow the same pattern as zodiac and follows lonely people aka possible victims and when zodiac tries to do something he'd wake up on a table

  What if Zodiac was actually really dumb? Like if his cryptogram can't be deciphered, because the cypher he made up was actually gibberish and doesn't actually correspond with his letters?
