  I definitely understand what James is saying when it comes to subconsciously banking a good deed. <b>I genuinely want people to be safe. Thats first and foremost!</b> But a little part of my brain always worries that I’m just doing it to prove to myself (and God) that I’m a good person and worthy of having good things happen to me as well.
