  Bump stops have been way more advanced than simple rubber blocks for decades. 10 years ago, Einfach made around 50 different stops with various ridges, impact noses, concave hemispheres, and more. They were mostly made out of single density PU, but several were dual density (dual shot). Perry Parts is a cool, but this is glossing over just a bit too much to make the story sound better.

  So I design and 3D print replacement parts for vintage Audis, just started doing Subframe bushings in TPU-64D and am testing them on my car now.

  Great to see Perry Parts on here! &nbsp;I’ve been in the Lexus GX off-roading community for almost 10 years now and it’s been cool to see his business grow.<br><br>The other cool thing he’s doing; gives a lifetime guarantee on his bump stops. &nbsp;It really helped people feel confident in them when he first started selling them. &nbsp;And I know he’s happily replaced some of the first versions that he sold when they had layer separation.<br><br>Great video!

  Last year when I was replacing the junk ones on my car. I did think it would be a great idea to 3d print those. But I don’t have the money or printer capability. Glad to see I had a good idea and someone else was capable of doing it.

  Yes I did exactly this last year for a set of low profile bump stops (out of TPU95A) I needed on a pair of traction bars. I dialed in the &quot;stiffness&quot; by making a few with different infill/columns to get what I wanted.

  I’d really like to see that pellet extruder on the market, or at least a published design. It’s a game-changer for soft TPEs, but it can still make a lot of sense for hard plastics too.
