  The game crashing right after you finish the tutorial but before you are able to save, is in fact the most authentic way to play these old PC games XD.

  I can't believe nobody mentioned this game's secret feature that would WHISPER YOUR NAME at random times. It has an archive of like 500 common names, and if you enter one it recognizes it would whisper it to you when you least expect it. It TERRIFIED me as a kid

  Something I'll never forget about this game was for a few hours I kept hearing the whisper "deeeeath". I was too busy scouring the island for every tree to build one building to notice the food store had become spoiled and virtually everyone in the town had died.

  Black and White lead to one of my favorite memories as a kid. Me and two friends wanted to play Black and White the computer didn&apos;t have a new enough graphics card. We asked my friend&apos;s dad if we could go and buy one but he said it was too late and he didn&apos;t want to drive us. So we decided we&apos;d walk the couple miles to the Fred Meyer to get one.<br><br>We grabbed a 2 liter of mountain dew, shoved some pizza in our pockets, and headed out! We chatted the whole time about life and such, tried to catch a possum we saw (it got away), and eventually made it to Fred Meyer right before they closed. We strolled into the electronics department as Queen&apos;s Another One Bites the Dust played and we had a victory dance. As we checked out my friend&apos;s dad actually showed up because he was worried about us and drove us back to my friend&apos;s house.<br><br>We then hooked up the graphics card and lo and behold!...it didn&apos;t work. The graphics card was too new &nbsp;and it wasn&apos;t compatible. So we never played Black and White. But we got a story out of it at least.

  When I was a kid I remember the portal opening and little me spending nearly an hour meticulously saving every single tiny person from both villages and taking them with me to the next world. I grabbed all the grain and wood so that we&apos;d have enough supplies for everyone to survive. Even uprooting all the trees, scooping tonnes of fish, farm animals, and taking a few interesting rocks. I practically cleaned out the tutorial island because I didn&apos;t want to leave anyone in nemesis&apos; apocalypse. Stuff was falling from the sky for like 12 straight minutes when I finally went through myself.
