  The crazy thing is that it&apos;s blatantly obvious that some mutants are so insanely dangerous to society that even if earth became 100% mutant, the vast majority made up of weak mutants with basic powers like &quot;jump really high&quot; or &quot;communicate with housecats&quot; are going to have to band together to fight against god-level mutants who have powers like &quot;delete the sun,&quot; and they&apos;d just end up building their own version of Sentinels to kill them anyways. X-Men is a ridiculous franchise.

  Unnecessary drama is all X-Men stories were back then.<br>If they wanted to make a story that centered on mutants trying their best to help humanity and be treated as people, then they would’ve done that already.<br>It’s all love triangles and melodrama disguised as a hero story and it unironically pisses me off to see such interesting characters be used like this.

  Martian manhunter has the strong ethical framework of simultaneously being the most powerful and least useful person in the room at all times. Since mind control would be useful, he doesn&apos;t do it, on principle.

  Here’s the problem. &nbsp;Most modern Marvel writers now write from the perspective of “Magneto was right” and. “Professor X is a Jerk” and Marvel had been catering to this fanbase for 20 years. &nbsp;That’s why the X-Men now seem no different from the Brotherhood or acolytes.
