  Not some of y'all in the comments defending Joe Jackson harder than his own family 💀 The family literally executive produced the biopic and allowed Joe to be shown as the villain of the whole story. They sent the message loud and clear-  this is documented history now. And before anyone says “Michael forgave him” YES, but it was for his own mental health and spiritual healing, NOT as an endorsement for what he went through as a child. End of 🙅🏿‍♀️

  Yeah watching the ophra interview when he admitted his dad hit him, he immediately after says (paraphrasing)“ sorry joe please don’t get mad at me” and  the fact that at his literal peak of wealth/fame his dad still had such a mental chokehold on him just makes my heart break. Like imagine always being subconsciously terrified of such a pathetic man your whole life

  I never understood why so many people condone corporal punishment of children, they're the most vunerable and innocent of us and should be the last people you should be allowed to hurt 😢

  "Every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child." Truer words have never been spoken, Joseph Jackson was an awful, abusive piece of work. They even had to tone him down slightly for the "Michael" biopic.

  It anger me to see people defending Joe’s abusive behaviors. I saw a lot of people especially in the black community rationalizing Joe&apos;s abusive behaviors and blaming the victims saying that MJ was too sensitive and a difficult kid to raise. This people have no ideas of the long term consequences of child abuse on the development of a person. Defenders are as disgusting as the abusers. Child abuse is unacceptable and shouldn’t be tolerated anymore because people who suffer from this kind of abuse have to live with it for the rest of their lives. <br><br>What Joe was doing to his kids was far from being normal back in the days. Joe verbally, physically abused his kids. Let’s not forget that he stripped his sons naked, oiled their body with baby oil, beat them with an extension cord until they bled, then slammed them against the wall. On top of that, he cheated on his wife, had sex with the Jackson 5´s groupies who were underaged near his sons, was telling them to do exactly what he was doing to these very young women and wanted to force MJ to lose his virginity with some women. He emotionally and physically abused his kids and wife on several occasions. Joe’s abusive behaviors left emotional scars to all his kids and his wife. <br><br>Joe is the reason for a lot of issues and struggles his children had in life. MJ spent a lot of his adulthood to rebuild the childhood he never had and tried to find some surrogate families and he paid for it. I will never forget that a few days after MJ’s passing, he came on national TV, used his son&apos;s death to promote his label record. He also said he never beat Michael and didn’t regret what he did to his kids. Even to this day, I still think that MJ should have sued his father. Joe is a narcissist.

  Joe Jackson was a malignant narcissist. And I’m so sick of our community giving him a pass because he raised super stars. People always talking about “That’s how it was back then &amp; black men had it hard &amp; he had to be tough on those boys blah blah blah”. This is show how dysfunctional our community is. I like to call a spade a spade. He was a violent lunatic!!!! He abused those kids! It’s ok for a parent to give their children discipline &amp; sometimes to get a little tough. But he could have also showed those kids love. I know all about discipline &amp; being tough because I was raised by a military dad. However, my dad never failed to show my siblings &amp; I love. He was very affectionate with us &amp; I couldn’t have ask God for a better father.
