You can't explain Pop in general without Michael Jackson. Because pop IS Michael Jackson.

Now if only we could get these idols to follow in MJ's footsteps when it comes to humanitarism and speaking out against injustice and their ghetto awful companies. Perhaps when that happens the industry, and more importantly, the world will start becoming a better place.

This made me cry, I just wish he was here to see how much he was influenced the new generation, his music, his moves, everything that his mind created has been passed for generations, truly once in a life time artist, he will never be replaced.

Recently realized this. Michael built the archetype of the modern pop idol. He's also the reason why, while rock's highest tier is rockstar, pop's isn't popstar but pop idol.

not including JYP in this video is somehow a crime, that man literally has a MICHAEL JACKSON ROOM in his company building and he adapted the groove that Michael have in his songs
