  Recently I&apos;ve had few of 30 minute interviews. Most managers don&apos;t give to much time to ask questions at the end, so if you really have questions to ask, do them during the interview, before getting close to end of the session.

  Andy,<br><br>I&apos;ve just completed my final interview today. I wanted to thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. As a first-generation who grew up in an underserved community, I didn&apos;t have mentors growing up, so interviews do not come easily to me. I feel I have to put in more effort to do a good job. And it also doesn&apos;t help that I&apos;m naturally an introvert. 😢<br><br>And I just want to say that whether I get the job or not, I have learned so much from you and so much about myself, so thank you so much.

  Thank you for sharing this. I agree that hiring managers often form an initial impression of a candidate within the first few seconds of an interaction. What I don&apos;t understand is why a candidate isn&apos;t informed at that stage if they are no longer being considered. Instead, some candidates are asked to participate in additional interviews, tour the facility, and invest more time in the process, only to receive a rejection email afterward.

  I have a 30 minute phone interview/conversation in a few days with the team manager at a progressive nonprofit—the position is a Nursery Production Tech at an organic farm. &nbsp;It’s my dream job and I’ve even name dropped my connections at the farm. &nbsp;My current job is Production Tech at an electronics factory so the job aligns well in many ways just different industries. &nbsp;Been wracking my brain for a power story. &nbsp;Your video is really helpful. &nbsp;I can see that I need to focus on likability because when i think about my current job and what the successful workers are like it’s friendliness, diligence, listening and a focus on product quality. &nbsp;I think those are the things I imagine they want in a worker bee. &nbsp;The skills of a particular job can be learned if you can show you have the aptitude.
