  Alan Rickman knows exactly what movie he is in. It’s the most joyous delivery of a villain you will ever see. This movie is peak the 1990. The song was everywhere.

  The way Marion screams “ROBIN!!!” when she sees he’s alive always sticks out in my mind, like that actress seriously put everything into that, almost a primal scream 😱

  I still get soggy eyed when the old man stands up for the boy when they are about to be executed and still has the humanity in him to ask if the boy is “alright” moments before certain death. Still moves me.

  The actor playing Nottingham&apos;s cousin is Michael Wincott, and he&apos;s known for having a gravely voice.<br>He&apos;s also in The Crow, The Three Musceteers, Alien Resurrection, and the live action Ghost in the Shell.

  Alan Rickman was giving free reign to perform the character as he wished. When he won the BAFTA for supporting actor, he said “may this always be a reminder that subtlety isn’t everything.”<br><br>The irony about Costner’s accent is that the English accent as we know it didn’t exist that far back.

  In the director’s cut, the witch Mortiana is revealed to have been spying from the walls on the sheriff and pretending to know certain things through witchcraft. Later she tells the Sheriff that she is his real mother.
