There is the Hohojiro clan which Shiver was born to and the clan is made up of shark tamers. Frye was born into the Onaga clan which is made up of eel charmers, and Big man was born into the Manta clan, which is made up of manta rays.

While there was the result of the Great Turf War and separated Octarians from the Inklings, in the SPlatlands they were saved by the Three Lights, aka the three clans that Shiver, Frye and Big Man are from. Shark Clan, Eel Clan and Manta clan. Pretty much saying that instead of going to war for territory, they were saved by the three clans and there was no war, perhaps proving while there Octolings were chilling alongside Inklings.<br> &nbsp;That&apos;s my headcanon, at least.
